Dr. Edmonds joined the Political Science department of the University of San Diego in 2001 and teaches courses such as: Politics in Latin America, Politics in Mexico, Comparative Politics, Politics of Developing Countries and Introduction to International Relations. Her dissertation is entitled: “Decentralization and Local Autonomy in Mexico” and her research interests include sub-national politics in Mexico as well as decentralization and democratization in Latin America.
