Dr. Catherine Blecki received a Ph.D. from UCLA, specialization in 17th Century Literature. Dr. Blecki has spent 35 years teaching courses in English Literature from 16th and 17th centuries, including many courses on Shakespeare. In recent years, Dr. Blecki has been a guest lecturer for the CEC at Rancho Bernardo on many occasions. In recent years, she has lectured on the following topics: Dr. Samuel Johnston, Francis Bacon, Translation and the King James Bible, and lastly HAMLET the Play.
